the first radio
The radio was made in 1895 by Gugliemo Marconi. The radio is a machine that sends
and receives radio waves and plays them back as sounds. Radio works by changing sounds or signals that people put in into radio waves, which travel through air, space, and solid things, and the radio receiver on the other radio changes them back into the sounds, words, and music we hear through our radios. The first message sent over the radio was the letter s in Morse Code. People were really excited when they found out that this machine worked because now they had a quick and easy way to communicate with people in other countries and continents. Today, radios are still very helpful because we can listen to music, communicate with people, and listen to sports games while we're just sitting or driving in a car.
